Crew aboard. Paws on deck! The salty sea dog is here!
This handsome handmade Blue Witch 3D ceramic mug features the Portuguese Water Dog, affectionately known as the Portie, an athletic, curly-coated breed with webbed feet and a natural love of water. Once an indispensable member of Portuguese fishing crews, this remarkable working dog was trained to herd fish into nets, retrieve lost tackle and even carry messages between boats or back to shore. The Portie has now traded life at sea for a cosy place at home.
