Guardian of the Dynasty. A tiny emperor ruling his empire!
This charming handmade Blue Witch 3D ceramic mug features the Pekingese, an ancient Chinese toy breed once treasured by the Imperial Court as a royal companion and guardian spirit. So highly prized was the Pekingese that stealing one was reportedly punishable by death. With its magnificent flowing coat and proud, lion-like appearance, this little aristocrat certainly looks the part! Intelligent, affectionate and fiercely independent, the Pekingese has a stubborn streak and a regal attitude, as though the Imperial Palace still belongs to him!
