The wings of victory. A British legend that ruled the skies!
This striking handmade Blue Witch 3D ceramic mug features the legendary Supermarine Spitfire, one of Britain's most iconic fighter aircraft of the Second World War. The name Spitfire was reportedly inspired by a nickname given to the daughter of Vickers-Armstrongs chairman Sir Robert McLean. Dating back to Elizabethan times, the word means a fiery, quick-tempered character. A fearless fighter that played a vital role in wartime defence. The pride of Britain!
